Shore Power Expansion: Aligning Grid Capacity, Port Demand and Vessel Needs
Shore power is scaling faster than grid readiness. This session examines how ports, utilities, and vessel operators align capacity, demand, and timelines to avoid bottlenecks. It addresses peak load challenges, infrastructure planning, and cost allocation, providing practical insight into coordinating systems for reliable and scalable deployment.
