Christopher Farrugia is an engineer and projects management with over three decades of experience across industry and the public sector, including 32 years in the maritime and construction fields.
For the past 25 years, he has led the development and implementation of numerous maritime projects, including capacity building initiatives, software systems, vessel traffic and port security systems, pollution control measures, port planning, and major marine infrastructure. He has directed major government-led port development projects, most recently spearheading Malta’s OPS (Onshore Power Supply) projects. Chris currently serves as a senior manager within the marine unit of Infrastructure Malta, the national agency for infrastructure development.
