
Ivana Melillo is a leading expert in the maritime sector, with nearly 25 years of experience in energy efficiency, sustainability, and technological innovation. She holds a degree in International Trade and Currency Markets Economics from the Naval University Institute of Naples, a Master’s in Maritime Transport Economics from the Link University of Malta, and an Executive MBA from LUISS Business School.
Ivana has contributed to shaping European and international maritime policies, collaborating with the IMO, European Sustainable Shipping Forum, and industry associations such as Assarmatori, ECSA, CLIA, and Interferry. She has received multiple awards for her work in energy efficiency and digitalization.
Notable achievements include coordinating the first Net Zero Emission voyage of the LNG-powered cruise ship MSC Euribia and leading Italy’s first LNG bunkering operation for a ro-pax vessel.
Outside of work, Ivana pursues her passion for sailing, exploring new seas professionally and personally.
