Turning Port Constraints into Opportunities: ShoreConnect Solutions Enabling Smarter Port Operations

As ports accelerate their decarbonization journey, they must often overcome space limitations, operational constraints, and existing infrastructure challenges. This presentation highlights how ShoreConnect solutions can transform these obstacles into opportunities through innovative and operationally efficient shore power systems. Two real-world case studies, one in a busy cruise terminal and one in a container port, will demonstrate how tailored designs enable reliable vessel electrification, optimize quay operations, and support sustainability goals while minimizing impacts on daily port activities.
