Ana Arévalo is a Naval Engineer with over 25 years of professional experience in the naval and port logistics sectors. She is currently Head of the Shorepower Department at the Port of Barcelona, where she leads the implementation and deployment of NEXIGEN, the Port’s strategic plan to progressively electrify all its quays and provide shore power to vessels at berth.
She participates as a shorepower expert in various national, European and international associations and working groups, representing the Port of Barcelona and Puertos del Estado. She is also a regular speaker at technical forums and conferences and lectures.
