The Port of Bilbao is one of the most important ports on Spain's Atlantic coast, handling over 30 million tonnes of cargo annually. The port authority is actively investing in shore power infrastructure and port electrification as part of its sustainability and decarbonisation strategy, aligned with the European Green Deal and AFIR requirements for TEN-T core ports.
