EOPSA holds its first in-person board meeting at DTF 2026

An association milestone set the tone for two days of connection, debate and shared ambition in Malta.
DTF 2026 began with a significant first: the European Onshore Power Supply Association (EOPSA) held its first ever in-person board meeting at the event.

The meeting reflected a central purpose of DTF bringing people together around a shared ambition to advance maritime decarbonisation.
Alongside its conference sessions and exhibition, DTF provides a setting for associations, partners and industry groups to meet, exchange perspectives and conduct their own business.
For EOPSA, gathering its board in person marked an important moment for an association whose work connects expertise across shore power and port electrification. Hosting that milestone at DTF placed these connections at the heart of this year’s event.

Held at Valletta Gateway Terminal on 13 and 14 October, DTF brought the maritime and energy sectors together to discuss the transition from shore power to integrated energy systems.
The value of that gathering extended beyond the stage: into meetings, introductions and conversations between people facing shared challenges.
Making space for those exchanges is part of what DTF stands for.

Networking brings people into the same conversation. Debate tests ideas. Dedicated meetings give organisations time together to focus on their work.
EOPSA’s first in-person board meeting was a fitting way to begin a milestone for the association, and an example of the role DTF can play as a meeting place for the sector.
Progress starts with people coming together. At DTF, that happens on stage, around the table and everywhere in between.
